Most children attach to a blanket or a stuffed animal or something like that. But our Nicholas is an individualist. He's seems to have attached to his burp cloths...
Which perhaps isn't so strange considering it is an item that is very close by at all times.And it is kind of nice, because burp cloths are small, useful and easy to stick in a diaper bag or a pocket. They are also plentiful and easily replaced, as long as he doesn't decide to pick a specific burp cloth. At the moment he prefers the ones that have a waffle weave (we have 12 of them). He clutches them close when he is falling asleep and plays with them when he is awake.
