Since I knew Saturday would be a very busy day with many family members coming in and out, I decided to do a photo shoot a couple of days early. Just to make certain we got at least a few photos of Nicholas in his Baptismal attire.
Here he is...
The Baptismal Gown (not dress!) is a very traditional one that has been in our family for a few generations.It is also the reason we scheduled the baptism posthaste. We knew we had a limited time in which he would still be able to fit into it. And even at a few days over 1 month, it was a bit tight and could not be buttoned all the way up in back. (I was two weeks old when I wore it.)
