Guess who is 4 1/2 months old and already wearing 12 months sized clothing?
You guessed it! Nicholas!This past week we started having to stretch the 9 month clothes to make them fit. This morning I pulled out the few 12 months clothes we have. Right now he has 4 outfits. Which means I am going to be doing frequent laundry until the package from Auntie Kara arrives. Especially on the days when Nicholas requires a costume change due to an "explosive situation."
I've been told by numerous other mothers that regardless of how old they are, once they hit the 12 month clothing the growth spurts slow down a little.
We'll see...
And in other news, we are debating whether to start Nicholas on solids. In the last couple of days he's been eating 40 or more ounces of formula per day, he wakes up in the middle of the night to eat and he is having at least 7 bottles a day. He's a hungry boy.
We don't want to start too early, but he's much bigger than other 4.5 month old babies and obviously is hungry, so we probably will. But I want to wait to see if the trend continues past a few days, meaning it's not just a growth spurt.
