Nicholas has now woken up 5 nights in a row for extra feedings and has continued to eat ravenously and often during the day.
According to our various books, that means the formula is not enough. Plus he has enough other indicators that say he is ready for solids. He is definitely big enough now. And the doctor cleared us to begin when we wished at his last Well Baby Visit two weeks ago.
So this morning we mixed some rice cereal and formula together.
First spoonful...
He thinks he likes it...
He definitely likes it!
Daddy's turn to feed him...
After he finished eating, he wanted to play with the spoon...
And so the next stage of our adventure begins!
