Although they still eye him with suspicion and are ready to give him a warning bop, just in case he oversteps their limit!Although the cats won't be with us much longer. They aren't getting as much attention as they need and we don't have a good place for their food and litter, so in a week they are going to go live with my parents.
And in other news, this morning we had Nicholas's 12 month appointment. The pediatrician asked if he was pulling himself up and standing on his own yet.
I put him on the floor and he walked by himself to the doctor.
"Oh my" was the response.
The only concern is that Nicholas is below the 20 percentile in weight even though he remains in the 95th percentile for height. Not a huge concern, as many children drop in weight for a month or so after they start walking, but we do need to weigh him periodically at home to make certain his weight goes back up.
Now let's do a little comparison.
Nicholas at Birth:
Weight: 8 lbs 5 oz
Length: 20 inches
Head Circumference: 13 inches
Nicholas at 12 Months:
Weight: 20 lbs 8 oz
Length: 30.75 inches
Head Circumference: 18.5
